You are also encouraged to attend one of our bi-monthly meetings on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Weston Fire Station just behind the Weston Community Building.
It's Time to Start Your Adventures
The Weston Volunteer Fire Department is currently asking the residents of Weston Fire District and surrounding areas to become volunteers. We are looking for future Firefighters and Emergency Medical personnel to help our community. You will receive training in firefighting or emergency medical services. All the training courses are frequently available to our members. All the firefighter training provided to you is FREE of charge and is always ongoing. Your responsibilities as a member will include: responding to emergencies: either fire, rescue or ambulance calls, as well as attendance at monthly meetings and training exercises. You must remember that you will be volunteering your time and that we provide emergency service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In becoming a volunteer you will be providing the residents of your community, possibly your friends and neighbors, with an outstanding and dedicated fire department. You can make a big difference in your life and the lives of others by volunteering your time.

Minimum Requirements
To qualify for a Volunteer Fire Service Firefighter the candidate MUST:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Hold high school diploma or equivalent
- Live within Weston Fire District or surrounding area within 25 miles of the Weston Fire Station
- Have a valid drivers license
- Have a satisfactory driving record
- Be able to pass a background check
- Pass background checks, drug screenings, physical examination
- Strong physical stamina is another essential requisite
- Submit completed application along with latest resume
